KEY INGREDIENTS:

10% Mandelic Acid: chirally-correct form of the naturally occurring alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) Mandelic Acid.  Like other AHA exfoliants, Mandelic helps slough dead skin cells and assist cell turnover to help improve texture and complexion problems, such as wrinkles and uneven tone.  What’s unique about Mandelic is its ability to be as effective in treating mature skin conditions as Glycolic Acid but with significantly less irritation and redness, especially for those with sensitive or darker skins.  With added antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, Mandelic is an ideal choice for a wider range of skin conditions and types looking for an improved appearance with fewer side effects.

Manuka Honey: when New Zealand bees harvest the nectar of the native manuka plant, you get the world-renowned Manuka Honey.  In addition to having the highest antibacterial activity of all honeys, studies show it has unique proteins that enhance immune activity and stimulate anti-inflammatory response.  Wounds treated with Manuka exhibit not only excellent recovery but also accelerated recovery.  Other benefits of topical Manuka include antioxidant, humectant and protective effects. 

5% Lactic Acid (L): chirally-correct form of the naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) Lactic Acid.  Lactic is an exfoliant that helps reduce texture and complexion problems (such as wrinkles and uneven tone) by breaking down dead cellular buildup and assisting new cell turnover.  Since it also has humectant properties, it supports moisture levels, thereby protecting dehydrated skins from becoming even dryer and more brittle.  Of all the AHAs, Lactic Acid is generally regarded as one of the most gentle.

Mirabilis Jalapa Extract: also known as the “four o’clock flower”, this delicate flower’s extract is exceptionally successful at calming reactive skin, including reducing discomfort (like sensations of pain, itching and stinging) and visible redness; improves skin’s long-term resilience against sensitivity triggers; supports skin’s barrier function and improve hydration.
